I guess I was a little mixed up. I thought this course was flat. I was obviously thinking of the Mud Mountain 5k. Imagine my surprise when I encountered the first hill. I still like the course very much and look forward to doing it again next year. I like out and back courses that are slightly uphill going out and slightly downhill coming back.

As usual, Sherry Clark did a bang-up job of putting this race together. Everything went smoothly and the course was fast enough to result in some TOP IO times.

Congratulations to Sandy Madden who completed her 8th series race to become our latest series finisher.

The first Silver Strider to finish was Jeffrey Hotsko, age 65! Jeffery’s time was 22:07. The first female Silver Strider to finish was 50 year old Amanda Hoskins in 22:46.
