This race is named after Dale Hall. This quiet, unassuming gentleman, has the unbelievable record of wearing his Silver Strider Grand Prix shirt at all 83 series race he finished between 2011 and 2019. He is the all-time top Silver Strider Ambassador.

Dale was the Silver Strider who carried the torch in our quest to make Race Directors want to be included in our series. Our goal was to have a sea of Silver Strider shirts seen at races. His dedication to this goal was unequaled! The results of this effort was that race directors wanted to be included in our series. It enabled us to set criteria like requiring recognition for older age groups.

Covid devastated our Grand Prix Series. Can we restore it to become the series that it once was? Let’s follow the example of Dale Hall and wear our Silver Strider shirts, singlets, hats or visors. Let’s be noticed at races we enter.

Let’s also pay tribute to Dale’s accomplishment by entering his race. Mark your calendar and sign up for the Dale Hall 3k race to be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 10 am. The race is part of the Grand Prix Series and finishers will receive race credit and points. It will be  held in Gig Harbor. The course will be the same course used for time trials in September, October and November. The course is certified and times will be eligible for TOP IO ranking and Super Athlete qualification..
