Resolution #2 – 5k, 10k, & 15k

The 2025 Ambassador Series continued with the second of three Resolution Run races. Another strong turnout despite the near freezing temperature. Runners had a choice of distances at Steilacoom Park for the second in a series of 3 races. The 5k was for those doing the 5k triple. The 10k was for those doing the 10k triple. The 15k was for those doing the progressive series. Their series was race #1 the 10k, race #2 the 15k and race #3 the 20k. The relatively new course was in perfect shape and well marked.
Amanda Hoskins, age 50, celebrated her new status as a Silver Strider by scoring her second straight series overall victory. Amanda previously scored an overall win at Resolution Run 10k on January 4th.

One hundred and fifty-six runners crossed the finish line. Once again, the first Male Silver Strider to finish the 5k was Brian Taylor 50, in 21:48. First female Silver Strider was 68 year old Tiare Bailey in 31:04.
The first Silver Striders in the 10k were Michael Lines 58, in 41:30 and Jessica Moorish 52, in 51:44.
The first Silver Striders in the 15k were Gary Petro 68, in 62:22 and Amanda Hoskins 50, in 69:11.
