3/14/26 – Greenlake – Seattle
The driving directions to the race were good.  I left home early to be sure I could find the place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Two groups were in the costume contest.

Meanwhile, my feet were cold and wet.  Race was delayed about 40 minutes for hail and some melting. Hail on sidewalks is very slippery. Kids’ race and the delay took almost an hour. My feet had no feeling now. 

After we started, we had a brief snowfall.  Then good old rain. Pie after the race. Lots of pie and every flavor you can imagine. Finishers ‘medal’ was a delightful pie server. I would do this race again.
