The Silver Strider “Move More in 24″Grand Prix Series is underway.
In a return our original pre-covid format, there will be no registration fee. Everybody over 50, fast or slow, run or walk, is welcome to participate.
There are 27 races in the Series. To be a Series finisher, you must finish 8 individual races. Following each Series race you complete you will receive points for your finishing position in your age group.
Scoring is like this:
10 points. – For finishing 1st in your age group at a scheduled Series race.
9 points – For finishing 2nd in your age group
8 points – For finishing 3rd in yur age group
7 points – For finishing 4th in your age group
6 points – For finishing 5th or lower in your age group
To be a Grand Prix Series finisher, you must finish a minimum of 8 races on the schedule. Al finishers will receive a trophy and other prizes at our Annual Awards Party in January 2025.
